In the 2023 Vegan Summit China Vegan Society released the first domestic Vegan Lifestyle Survey, revealing that for urban youth in mainland China, VEGAN is not just a dietary choice, but also an attitude and way of life.
Among young demographics, the acceptance rate of VEGAN has reached 61%, revealing portraits of five distinct groups. Among them, the "Global Citizens" demographic is rapidly expanding in urban areas. Their attitudes and lifestyles align perfectly with the global definition and ethos of VEGAN.
In 2023, China Vegan Society held its third annual vegan conference by the Yangcheng Lake Su Zhou, China. Domestic and international Earth citizens embracing VEGAN lifestyles gathered for the first time post-pandemic.
Subsequently, they initiated a series of actions: VEGAN Action Fellowship project, VEGAN City Partner Program, Multinational Vegan Certification Alliance, Climate Eco-Farms...
In 2024, the Vegan Summit will center around China, a rapidly developing nation in vegan, to welcome a grand event promoting the global adoption of the Vegan lifestyle. This summit aims to create more opportunities for a better world.
As global attention on sustainability continues to grow, more and more people are accelerating their adoption of the Vegan lifestyle in response to concerns about climate change, low carbon emissions, environmental conservation, and health. Together, they are empowering sustainable development for our planet's future.
2024 Global Vegan Summit Timeline
Late June: Global Vegan Summit Launch Event (Green Friday in Shanghai)
September-October: Regional Sub-Venues (Multiple Locations)
Mid-November (Three Days and Nights): Main Venue in China East
About the Main Venue:
Embrace and support the concept of Veganism, promoting a plant-based lifestyle.
Provide 100% Vegan meals throughout the event.
Close proximity to both natural ecosystems and urban life.
Main summit forum accommodating 300-500 attendees, with 1-2 additional breakout venues for 100-200 participants each, and multiple workshop spaces indoors, capable of hosting over 10,000 attendees.
Convenient transportation access (airport, high-speed rail, public transit services, etc.).
Surrounding hotels and diverse accommodation options available.
Ability to meet the above requirements and offer expandable resources (including but not limited to collaborating with local cultural and tourism resources to create Vegan travel experiences, and partnering with multiple countries to build multilateral cultural, lifestyle, and business cooperation).
About the Sub-Venues:
Based on the geographical location, cultural characteristics, venue positioning, and support for the conference in the selected sub-venue cities, we will organize prelude seminars, forums, workshops, markets, travel, and other activities related to the Vegan Festival. Specific event will be tailored to the topics and surrounding resources of the venue area.
City partners hosting the Vegan activities have priority as one of the sub-venue organizers.

Intellectual Property Image Solicitation
Are you an artist or designer with a creative vision? We are seeking unique and compelling intellectual property (IP) images to represent our upcoming Vegan Festival. Your artwork could become the visual identity of our event, capturing the essence of Veganism and sustainability.
We are seeking intellectual property (IP) submissions that embody a spirit of diversity and inclusivity, celebrating the love for life, Earth, and living.
Veganism is more than just a dietary choice; it's an attitude towards life and a way of living.
There are no boundaries or borders; Veganism belongs to each and every one of us.
Submit your IP images to Info@chinavegans.org by 06/05/2024. We look forward to seeing your creative interpretations and working with you to make our Vegan Festival a memorable and impactful event.
The email should include:
Personal resume & portfolio of design work examples.
Design concept proposals: Illustrated with graphics and text, the creative part can be presented through various means such as flat, line drawings, 3D, 4D, etc. It should be accompanied by textual explanations of the creative ideas.
Special Note:
Contributors must ensure the originality of their work and automatically grant full copyright ownership of the creative design and copywriting to the organizer. The contributor (author) shall bear all related copyright issues. Within the scope permitted by law, the organizer reserves the right of final interpretation of the event.
This IP will become the peripheral merchandise of the event (and will subsequently initiate brand collaborations). It will also spread the "VEGAN flame" globally, connecting the world to promote a sustainable Vegan lifestyle that cares for our planet. Once the proposal is adopted, you will become the annual design partner of the conference, enjoying the benefits of participating in the Vegan Festival and other events of the year.
