In May 2021, vegan advocates from around the world joined the China Vegan Society’s two-day launch celebration and vegan mini-conference in Dali, Yunnan.

In October 2021, we hosted the first China VegFest, a carnival of vegan food, wellness, and entertainment in the heart of Beijing.

In 2022, we’re excited to announce the first annual MANG China Vegan Summit!

The MANG China Vegan Summit aims to unite, empower, and inspire vegan advocates inside and outside of China. We’re inviting speakers from different fields and backgrounds to share their experiences and expertise in panels, presentations, and networking sessions to break down borders, smash stereotypes, and inspire everyone to find new and better ways to make the world a kinder, healthier, and greener place in 2023.

Speakers

We’ve invited influential Chinese and international vegan nonprofits, businesses, media platforms, content creators, film directors, animal law experts, policymakers, youth activists, and more to share their experiences, insights, and inspiration at this year’s Summit.

Documentary debut

This year, we’re proud to present the China debut of the Eating Plants documentary series. The screening will include a live Q&A session with filmmaker Mick McIntyre and China Vegan Society founder Mr. Jian Yi. The series includes an episode on China, which takes viewers on a tour through the plant-based life shaping modern day China, from organic farms and trendy vegan restaurants to the age-old culture of tofu making and the health wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine.

How to join

Interactive sessions will be open for registration at the end of November, and livestream links will be posted on our social media accounts in advance of each session. Follow us on WeChat, Facebook, and Twitter for updates!

Special thanks to the partners and speakers who helped us to organize this year’s MANG China Vegan Summit!
