The China Vegan Society was honored to participate in the Vegan Festival Indonesia and 8th Annual World Vegan Organisation’s International Conference held earlier this month in Jakarta, Indonesia. CVS presented alongside vegan advocates from around the world in the festival’s ethics section sharing the strategies the China Vegan Society uses to promote veganism in China's unique cultural context.

On December 3 and 4, 2022, the China Vegan Society hosted the first MANG China Vegan Summit, China’s first bilingual online summit dedicated to empowering the vegan community to make veganism mainstream. Over two days, more than 350,000 people tuned in to hear speakers from around the world share ideas and best practices for growing the vegan movement through business, media, interactive campaigns, direct advocacy, and more.
